Vacation Packing aka What I’m Bringing

Hey everyone! I’m back today with a fun post. I love traveling and thankfully I get to get out of this nasty midwest chill that’s been hanging around for a bit and travel down south. I’m going to the beach! I am beyond happy for this break before the school semester starts back up for me.

Here’s what I have decided to bring, bookish and normal girl stuff.

For the books.

The two books that I am bringing along with me on this quick little trip at The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Murder on the Orient Express. I did just find out that there is a bit more driving than I would prefer, so 1984 and The City of Brass are coming along in my suitcase.

In my purse.

I decided that for this trip, I would need a stylish carry-on purse that could hold everything that I needed. I stumbled upon this beautiful LoZoDo Tote purse that fit all of my requirements. I couldn’t be happier with it. In this wonderful purse, I am bringing my iPad Pro with the pencil, my phone, a couple of notebooks that I always have with me, my favorite lip balm and gloss, and also The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I’m am hopeful that I will get to finish reading it on the first flight.

What books do you like to bring with you when you go on vacation?

*Edit: I live in the Midwest. If you have seen anything about the weather that we’re having this weekend, you know that we have gotten about 7 inches of snow already and are scheduled for more on Monday. Our flight was cancelled, we thought about driving, we thought about getting another flight out of Nashville, but we just were not able to enjoy a little winter vacation. If you also got a lot of snow this weekend, please stay safe.

I'm an avid reader who can't get her nose out of a book. I am an English undergraduate student in the Midwest who dreams of being an author one day.
