Hey everyone! I’m back here today with an entry post to #ReadersCrossing reading challenge hosted by Aentee (here’s her blog)! I participated in her previous reading challenge #TheReadingQuest which was super fun, got me out of my reading comfort zone, and helped motivate me to cross off a couple of books that I’ve been meaning to read. Now, she is hosting a similar reading challenge that is based on the cute app Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. It’s such a cute game and so easy to get sucked into. It is based on making friends and enjoying the fun of camping!

This challenge starts on December 10th and goes through December 31st.

I decided to do the “cool” pathway which is five down because it aligns with a couple of books that I’ve been wanting to read and my reading style. Also, I’m trying to not go out and buy a ton of books because Christmas and I have a huge family! Also, it’s good for me to practice restraint.

Here’s what I am planning on reading!

Contemporary: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini (I don’t know if this is technically contemporary, but this is the closest contemporary book that I’m wanting to read right now)

Written by a Celebrity: Bonfire by Krysten Ritter (I’m a huge fan so this totally counts for me!)

Book Award Winner: Artemis by Andy Weir (it won a Goodreads award soooo… it counts for me)

Recommended by a Friend: City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare (one of my friends has been badgering me to finish this series so that we can gush about it together)

Set in America: Sweetbitter by Stephanie Danler (set in NYC and it is one of my favorites and I would love to reread it)

That’s what I will be reading in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping to complete these fairly quickly then I can get on with the center squares! I’ll try to give weekly updates.

Are you participating in this reading challenge? If so, what are you planning on reading?

I’ll see you all soon in my next post! Keep on reading!
