May Wrap-Up

Hey everyone! It’s the beginning of June and the end of May. So much has happened in May and I’m slightly sad to see it go. But through all of it, a read a ton! Probably a bit too much, but what can I say? I couldn’t stop!

Now, I’ll put how much I liked the book, but I am not doing a full review on here. I don’t like to do reviews for series anyways, and that’s mostly what I read.

  • I started reading Three Dark Crowns at the very end of April and finished it in the first couple of days of May. I thought that it was a stand alone book at first, but the ending was such a cliffhanger so I was confused. With some research, I found out that the second book is coming out in the beginning of September. Lets just say, the date is marked in my calendar.

  • Then the new ACOWAR book came out and I had never read that series before. Well, that’s what I read for the next two and a half weeks. My poor friends and SO because I barely did anything except read and talk about these books. The first was okay, but when I first read it, I thought it was amazing. Then she found her Prince Charming and it got a gazillion times better! The end of the third book was not what I was expecting, especially when the series is going to continue on.

  • After that, my lovely SO suggested during an impromptu Target shopping trip, that I should get The Light We Lost, signed copy. It was so good that I finished it in two sittings and I cried at the end. I never cry during real life, movies, or books, but this story and the characters were so amazing, that I cried for hours after the story. My poor man, and I’m so thankful that he’s patient with me. There will be a review for this book soon…ish. Whenever I get time.

  • The last one that I read before May ended was Goodnight From London. It was on my Summer Reading list for a contemporary read. It was actually pretty good, the characters were lovely, and I made it through it pretty quickly. It was based in World War Two and the love story in it was worth rooting for. There will also be a review up for that it a while, just give me time though.

In all, I read 6 books this month and well over 2,000 pages. My eyesight got quite worse! Haha. Anyways, that all that I read and I crossed quite a few off my TBR list. What did you read in May? Or what’s on your summer TBR list?

Keep on reading, Loves!

Love, Loren
